Temp2.exe removal:

Required Tool: SDFix.exe
-------------------------------

1-   Search net & Download SDFix.exe and save it to your Desktop.
2-  Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive% (Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix).
3-   Reboot your computer in Safe Mode.
4-   Open the extracted SDFix folder (C:\SDFix) and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
5-   Type Y to begin the cleanup process. It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds, then it prompts you to press any key to Reboot. Press any Key and it will restart the PC. When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and completes the removal process. After completion it displays "Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons".
You have completed removal of temp2.exe.

Error 1311. Source file not found. SKU011.CAB

While installing Microsoft Office 2007 keeping previous versions (Microsoft Office 2003) intact, it prompt error message as below:
"Error 1311. Source file not found. G:\SKU011.CAB. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. [Retry] [Cancel]."
Here, G: is the drive letter of Optical Drive (CD-ROM, CD Writer or DVD Writer).

Solution:
--------
While prompting file missing error message of "SKU011.CAB" just remove Microsoft Office 2007 CD from Optical Drive and insert Microsoft Office 2003 CD. As soon as the progress bar advances remove Microsoft Office 2003 CD from drive and reinsert MS Office 2007 CD and let the setup continue. Wait for a while because it takes time.

Signcap Installation and Configuration:

Part-1
-------
1-   Install Signcap [C:\Signcap].
2-   Enter login id and password: admin.

Part-2
-------
Configure HP 2400C Scanjet Scanner as follows:
1-   Go to HP Director → Settings → Scan Picture Settings
2-   Scan Picture Settings → Scan Settings → Select :-
       Resolution        75 ppi
       Output type     Millions of colors (24-bit)
3-   Scan Picture Settings → Save Settings → Save to : C:\Signcap
       Uncheck [    ] Use monthly sub folder.
       Save As File Type  :  Tiff Image (*.tiff).
       Click : "Apply", "OK" and close window.
You are all done to use Signcap.

Moving My Document's to another Partition:

1-   Right Click "My Documents" → Click "Properties".
2-   Click "Move". 
3-   Click "Browse" from "Select a destination" dialog box.
4-   Browse D Drive/Partition.
5-   Click "Make a New Folder".
6-   Rename the folder just created.
7-   Click "OK", "Apply".
Here "Move Documents" dialog box will appear on screen with following message:
Would you like to move all of the documents in your old location to the new location you have chosen?
Old location: C:\Documents & Settings\User\My Documents
New location: D:\My Data
8-   Click "Yes" and "OK". 
You moved My Documents to D drive.
Advantage:
Data will remain safe if windows get crash, virus infection, FAT Table corruption, etc.

Registering Activation Code of Kaspersky Internet Security:

Register your "Kaspersky Internet Security 2007/2009/2010" Activation Code before installation:

1-   Connect internet. 
2-   Open "https://activation.kaspersky.com"
3-   Type your 20 digit Activation Code and click "Next".
       Leave the customer ID and password option blank.
4-   Provide your email address and location details.
5-   Click on "Download key" or "Get Key by Email" and save the Licence key file.

The Key file "xxxxxxxx.key" along with your unique customer id and password in a text file will be downloaded in the zip format. Unzip the file and store the Licence key on a CD for future use in case of system format/reinstallation etc.

Now install KIS 2010 and activate using the "Activation Code". If you are successful, KIS 2010 will get activated. If you are unsuccessful you will get the option to activate using the Licence key file. Browse and select the key file which you have already downloaded and active your Kaspersky version.

How to bypass Dialing through Kaspersky Internet Security 2009:

1-   Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2009.
2-   Click "Online Security".
3-   Click "Anti-Dialer" → Click "Settings". 
     "Settings: Trusted Numbers" dialog box will appear.
4-   Click "+Add" button. 
5-   "Phone number" dialog box will appear. 
      Type the number you want to bypass while dialing such as "#777" and "*99#".
6-   Click "OK", "OK", "Apply" and "OK".

Installing Passbook Printer:

1-   Go to Control PanelPrinter and FaxesClick [Add a printer].
2-   Click "Next".
3-   Click "Local Printer Attached to this Computer"
4-   Remove i.e. uncheck "[   ] Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer".
5-   Click "Next".
6-   Select "Use the following Port [LPT1: (Recommended Printer Port)]".
7-   Click "Next".
8-   Select "Generic" in Manufacturer's list & Select "Generic / Text Only" in Printer's list.
9-   Click "Next" until "Finish".

Installation Completed.

Installing Line Printer in Windows XP when you do not have driver:

Some earlier models of Line Printers do not support Windows XP i.e. they do not have drivers for Windows XP. Now how to use Line Printer in Windows XP? Don't worry there is a way. Just install Line Printer using inbuilt driver of "Generic / Text Only" will make your Line Printer work in Windows XP as well.

Saving Tally Data Directly into another Partition:

1-   Make a folder for Tally data storage at D drive (partition). 
      Eg. D:\Data9 or D:\Data72 and so on. (Make a new folder & rename as Data9 or Data72).
PS: Here Data9 indicates Data of Tally 9 whereas Data72 indicates Data of Tally 7.2.
2-   Double click Tally.ini (Tally configuration file) file in C:\Tally\Tally.ini .
3-   Search entry: "Data = C:\Tally\Data" and change to D:\Data9 or D:\Data72 and so on.
     Eg."Data = D:\Data9" or "Data = D:\Data72" and so on.
4-   Save and Close Tally.ini file.
Now you are all done to secure your valuable data at D drive (partition).

How to Block Internet Explorer 7.0 to going to go.microsoft.com:

1-    Open IE7.
2-    Go to Tools → Internet Options → General → Home Page → Click [Use blank].
3-    Go to Tools → Internet Options → Security → Trusted sites → Click [Sites].
4-    Add this website to the zone: [www.google.com]. Click [Add].
5-    Add this website to the zone: [about:blank]. Click [Add].
Please specify: Before adding 4 & 5 uncheck "[  ] Require Server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone."
6-    Click [Close].
7-    Go to Tools → Internet Options → Security → Restricted sites → Click [Sites].
8-    Add this website to the zone: [http://go.microsoft.com]. Click [Add] and [Close].
9-    Click [OK].
10-  Close Internet Explorer 7.0.
11-  Right Click Internet Explorer 7.0 at desktop and click "Open Home Page".
12-  Repeat Step 11 twice and you are all done.
Now you can safely browse with blank page through Internet Explorer 7.0 without first switching forcefully to www.microsoft.com.

1- Place doucment on glass.

2- Select Fax Mode by moving the left arrow button on panel to "Fax B & W" or "Fax Color".

3- Press OK button

4- "Enter Fax No." message will appear on LCD Panel

5- Type the Fax number where you want to send the fax.

6- ""Enter Fax from Glass?" 1 = YES, 2 = NO" message will appear on LCD Panel.

7- Select the location from Glass by pressing "1" button.

8- Press Start Button (Big Green button) at Panel.

Here are the steps:
1--- Click StartRun
2--- Type %temp% in open box and click OK.
3--- A temp folder will open with files and folders in it. Select all and delete.
4--- Empty Recycle Bin.
Repeat steps 1 to 4 with typing temp instead of %temp% in open box.
It will improve computer speed a little bit.

How to backup actions in photoshop?

Well, actions are nowadays wildly used in image editing in photoshop. It makes work easier and faster. I say this pretty handy tool a "shortcut". But this shortcut is basically not a shortcut whereas a hardwork of one's and smartwork for another. Let us jump on to the point, how to backup of our useful actions in photoshop. There are two ways to save or backup actions as follows:
Method - 1: Saving Actions one by one :
1- Make a folder on desktop such as "backup"
2- Run Photoshop.
3- Go to Action Palette i.e. WindowsAction.
4- You will get an Action Palette (a small dialog box) in the right side of window.
5- Select the Action set you want to backup or save in backup folder, you created on desktop.
6- The Action set will get grayed out when you select Action set, this is a confirmation that you are selecting properly.
7- Click the small arrow (located in the upper right corner of the palette) to open the palette options i.e. context menu.
8- Click Save Actions.
9- Save dialog box will appear, locate the path to backup folder at deskop from Save in box.
10- Click Save.
11- The selected action set is saved in the folder as a .atn file. You can save only one set at a time.
12- Repeate steps 5 to 11 to save/copy or backup of more actions.

Method - 2: Saving Complete Action Palette:
1- Locate the file "Actions Palette.psp" found in the Photoshop preferences folder on your harddrive.
2- Path: C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\[Version]\Adobe Photoshop [x] Settings\).
E.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\Ravi\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\9\Adobe Photoshop 9 Settings\
3- Copy or backup this file. You can overwrite the same file on another computer. All your action scripts will be copied with it.
Please specify: A backup of "Actions Palette.psp" of another computer on which we are moving or copying our useful actions must be taken before copying.

Google Chrome: Settings to remove offline content, clear cache, cookies, removing login entries, saved password, search bar and download entries

(1) Run Google Chrome browser.
(2) Go To Tool menu → OptionsGoogle Chrome OptionsMinor TweaksPasswords
Select option (radio button, just click in it to select option) :
[.] Never save passwords.
Click → [ Close ]
(3) Again go to ToolsClear Browsing Data. Select all the following options:
[√] Clear browsing history.
[√] Clear download history.
[√] Empty the cache.
[√] Delete cookies.
[√] Clear saved passwords.
And select [ Everything ] from Clear data from this period option.
Then click → [ Clear Browsing Data ]
You done again to clear browser.

Opera: Removing offline content, saved ids and passwords, clearing search bar, clearing history, removing cache

(1) Run Opera Browser.

(2) Click Delete Private Data.

     A Delete Private Data dialog box will appear. Click Detailed Option and Check all the following options:

     [√] Delete temporary cookies.

     [√] Delete all cookies.

     [√] Delete password protected pages and data.

     [√] Delete entire cache.

     [√] Clear History of visited pages.

     [√] Clear History of file transfers.

     [√] Clear bookmark visited time.

     [√] Clear all e-mail account passwords.

     [√] Clear all Wand passwords.

     Close all tabs.

     Delete all entries from the following tabs:

          [  Manage Cookies...  ]          [  Manage Wand Passwords...  ]

     Click Delete button.

     Click Yes  button (every time it arrives).

     Close browser.

And you have all done.

Mozilla Firefox settings for removing entries from search bar, Offline data, saved ids and passwords, history & cookies from browser

(1) Run Mozilla Firfox.
(2) Go to Tool menu → OptionsPrivacy (tab) → History.
History
Here uncheck (remove "√" symbol from box) following options:
[ ] Keep my history for at least 90 days.
[ ] Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar.
[ ] Remember what I've downloaded.
Private Data
Check (click in the check box so that "√" (right) symbol appears in it i.e. select it) following options:
[√] Always clear my private data when I close Firefox.
[√] Ask me before clearing private data.
(Selecting this option will allow Firefox to display Clear Private Data dialog box
when you close Firefox).
Click Settings (Tab)
Clear private data
When I ask Firefox to clear my private data, it should erase: (Check all of the following options)
[√] Browsing History
[√] Download History
[√] Saved Form and Search History
[√] Cache
[√] Cookies
[√] Offiline Website data
[√] Saved Passwords
[√] Authenticated Sessions
Click [OK]
(3) Go to Security (Tab) → Passwords
Remove checks from the following options:
[ ] Remember passwords for sites
(but before removing check of this option go to Exceptions (tab) and Click [Remove All].
Click [Saved Passwords] and if there is any, click [Remove All] and close.
Click [ OK ] to quit.
When you quit a Clear Private Data dialog box will appear. Just click [Clear Private Data Now].
Now you are all done.

Internet Explorer 7.0 settings to remove offline contents, deleting history, previous login entry, saved ids and passwords:

1- Run Internet Explorer 7.0
2- Go to Tool menu → Internet Options → General (tab) → Browsing History → Click Delete button → Select Delete All.
When you click Delete All, a dialog box will appear on screen showing:
Are you sure you want to delete all Internet Explorers browsing history?
[] Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons.
Click the check box and then click Yes.
3- Go to Content Tab → AutoComplete → Settings. Here remove checks in the following options:
[ ] User names and passwords on forms
[ ] Prompt me to save passwords
Just remove checks i.e. right symbol by clicking in the check box.
Click OK.

Removing entries from address bar and previous login entries permanently

Internet Explorer 6.0

(1) Run Internet Explorer

(2) Go to Tool Menu

(3) Select Internet Options → General Tab

Delete

1- Delete Files. [Check] Delete all offline content. Click Ok

2- Delete Cookies. Delete all cookies in the temporary files folder. click Ok

(4) Go to History → Clear History → Click ok.

(5) Go to Content [Tab] → Personal Information → AutoComplete.

Here: 1- [Uncheck] User names & passwords on forms

[Uncheck] Prompt me to save passwords

2- Click both tabs: [Clear Forms] [Clear Passwords]. Then click ok.

(6) Now you are done.

Please specify: Check means clicking with mouse in the box so that right symbol appears in the box which enables the selected option. Whereas uncheck means removing right symbol from the check box (box) which disables the option.

Making Straight Through and Crossover cables for LAN

Required tools:
1- LAN Cable
2- RJ-45 Connectors popularly known as crimps.
3- Crimping Tool

1_ MAKING STRAIGHT THROUGH CABLE:

Here are the steps:

(1) Remove cable insulation i.e. outer jacket of LAN cable.

(2) You’ll get 4 set of twisted wires, total 8 wires with following combinations
Green & White Green
Blue & White Blue
Orange & White Orange
Brown & White Brown

(3) Untwist all the set of wires and arrange all wires in following combination:
White Green
Green
White Orange
Blue
White Blue
Orange
White Brown
Brown

(4) Flatten it i.e. remove curliness from all wires with your fingers.

(5) Line-up closely all the wires as per combination (3) and cut them for even length.

(6) Insert carefully all the wires in RJ-45 connector and make assure that all the wires reached the connector end properly, hold gently and crimped it with the help of crimping tool.

(7) Apply above 1 to 6 steps to complete the other end of straight through cable.

First end of the Straight Through Cable:
(1) White Green
(2) Green
(3) White Orange
(4) Blue
(5) White Blue
(6) Orange
(7) White Brown
(8) Brown

Other end of the Straight Through Cable:
(1) White Green
(2) Green
(3) White Orange
(4) Blue
(5) White Blue
(6) Orange
(7) White Brown
(8) Brown

2_ MAKING CROSSOVER CABLE:

Here are the steps:

(1) As we know, a cable has two ends, crimp first end normally as straight through combination.

(2) Whereas, other end of the crossover cable combination is slight different, i.e. wire no. 1 and 3 replaces each other.

(3) In the same manner, wire no. 2 and 6 replaces each other.

(4) Rest process remains same.


First end of the Crossover Cable:
(1) White Green
(2) Green
(3) White Orange
(4) Blue
(5) White Blue
(6) Orange
(7) White Brown
(8) Brown

Other end of the Crossover Cable:
(1) White Orange
(2) Orange
(3) White Green
(4) Blue
(5) White Blue
