Saving Tally Data Directly into another Partition:

1-   Make a folder for Tally data storage at D drive (partition).
      Eg. D:\Data9 or D:\Data72 and so on. (Make a new folder & rename as Data9 or Data72).
PS: Here Data9 indicates Data of Tally 9 whereas Data72 indicates Data of Tally 7.2.
2-   Double click Tally.ini (Tally configuration file) file in C:\Tally\Tally.ini .
3-   Search entry: "Data = C:\Tally\Data" and change to D:\Data9 or D:\Data72 and so on.
     Eg."Data = D:\Data9" or "Data = D:\Data72" and so on.
4-   Save and Close Tally.ini file.
Now you are all done to secure your valuable data at D drive (partition).
